My Wedding

My wife was the creative director behind this work and a more demanding fickle boss I’ve never had before or since…

She said birds, I gave her birds. She said buck, a buck it was. Loved doing it though. Love her too.

Why the woodland theme? Easy, that’s because we got married at Hôtel Sacacomie in the Mauricie region of Quebec.

The “enveloppes” were printed on semi-transparent paper… a lot of them got caught in Canada Post’s machinery and opened… they charged us a ridiculous fee too reseal them. Badly, I might add.

Overall, a lot of fun to do.

The animal illustrations identified each table, instead of the traditional numbered tables.

We used one of our wedding photos, taken by the charming Stephen J. Edgar, for our thank you notes. (He’s worth every penny.)

And lastly, I had a lot of fun making hockey cards for each member of my wedding party, with fake stats, of course.
